British: Voormezeele, Wittenhuisstraat

Located next to the farm on the Wittenhuisstraat road is a British bunker showing signs of damage from artillery fire.

This bunker is on the frontline as it was in April 1918 and the Germans had taken the bunker and set up a machine gun position here. It was retaken by the US 119 Infantry Regiment on 31 August 1918.
