Family History: Fourth son of William and Annie McGregor Murray, 9 St Crispin’s Place, Stenhousemuir. Prior to enlisting on 7 September 1914, he was employed as a moulder by Jones and Campbell. One of his brothers was a Private in the Army Service Corps.
